Softwares: After Effects, Autodesk Fusion, Photoshop, Blender.

For this project, the task was to visualize an entire brand identity rather than focusing solely on a single product. Using a speaker concept created by @eslammo7amed on Instagram as a foundation, I developed the visual direction and branding for the fictional audio company THE SOUND.

BRAND IDEA

I wanted the brand to be aimed toward a demographic of young adults, with a focus on bold colors, energetic compositions, and glitch-inspired visual effects to create a modern and expressive identity. The overall aesthetic was designed to reflect the brand slogan, “Distort reality, play louder,” emphasizing themes of energy, individuality, and immersive sound experiences.

AFTER EFFECTS

The workflow for this project involved efficiently managing EXR files, which automatically updates in After Effects once rendered in Blender. The EXR data allowed material information to be transferred seamlessly, which when combined with Cryptomatte in After Effects, enabled the creation of precise masks for the screen elements. This workflow preserved realistic light reflections on the display while allowing flexibility to animate and edit the screen content non-destructively at any stage of the project.

I could also work with alot effects and editing in the program.

AFTERTHOUGHS

I had the opportunity to deepen my understanding of After Effects and gain a clearer understanding of working with compositions and layers within the software. Throughout this project, I encountered several personal challenges. However, these proved to be valuable learning experiences. As a result, I feel I have improved my mindset and I would like to continue working on and further developing this project in the future.
